Spicy Keema (mince meat) Lasagne
Ingredients
1kg mince lamb or mutton
1tbsp ginger & garlic paste
3 medium onions chopped
500g of frozen peas (optional)
400g of mozzarella cheese
1 tsp chili powder(add less for less spicy)
1 tsp salt (to your taste)
1tbsp garam masala
1tsp mixed Italian herbs
2 jars of red lasagna sauce
9 lasagnas sheets (depending on dish size)
1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
Method

Add oil in pan, place mince meat (lamb/mutton), stir and cook for few mins.

Add ginger and garlic and further cook meat.

Add all spices, herbs and salt . Fry 5-6minutes.

Add onions and fry for another 5-6 minutes on medium heat

Add peas and cook for 5-6 minutes

Add sauce and ½ cup of water. Cook on high heat until the sauce is reduced and the meat is cooked

Pre heat oven to 180°C

In a lasagne dish put some of the meat so that the bottom of the dish is covered

Spread the lasagne sheet on top (4 sheets)

Put another layer of sauce and then sprinkle ½ of the mozzarella cheese.

Spread the sheets again and then place the remaining sauce in the dish spreading it evenly.

Spread the remaining cheese .Put the dish in a pre heated oven 180°C for ½ hour or until the top is golden Enjoy with garlic bread and salad.
