Amaali  'Islam, World Views, British Value and Prejudice workshops'

Schools are only too well aware that there are many new hoops the government wants them to jump through from the RE Curriculum to the promotion of ‘British Values’ through spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development. The ideas are certainly valuable - now more than ever, but the manner of its effective delivery is not obvious or easy.

And this is where Yesmien (Yazi) rides to the rescue!

Now also providing the sessions remotely.

Yesmien has developed her skills as a teacher and evolved a wide variety of workshops introducing Kashmiri culture and Islamic workshops to young children across the north of England.

Facilitating in primary and secondary schools, colleges, and universities - Remote learning sessions available

Her background working with Early Years in Education has helped her create hands-on fun practical workshops for pupils both in primary and secondary education, supporting staff training days and the current North Yorkshire agreed RE syllabus.

These workshops fully support the curriculum's ‘British Values’ demands. They are exciting, practical, and relevant. They meet Ofsted's requirement that pupils are helped to develop a respect and understanding of different faiths and cultures.
