  • About Us

Amaali was set up in Oct 2007 when Yesmien decided to leave her full time job and focus on the business with her husband Shafiq creating opportunities for various organisations and schools to learn about the Kashmiri community in the North of England. Yesmien’s husband's passion for food helped them to create authentic Kashmiri dishes for all ages and groups for party bookings to corperate events.

Recipes from family, as well as husband Shafiq’s East meets West have proven to be very successful. Amaali have  developed  the business by providing from single events to a full package. Yesmien's Knowledge and up bringing in Skipton, the gateway to Dales has enabled her to build bridges in the wider community by creating a friendly atmsphere with selection of hands on activities from dance, creative story telling, henna painiting to cookery workshops as well as drama. Workshops in the North of England have been very popular and have given the Amaali group the opportunity to grow.

The team work with all ages and events around the country.

They have  developed their own blends of spices using family recipes and tips from family generation.
